Well said Becky. The cost of drag racing is ridiculous. My first Pro Stock car--my Pinto 76-79 I had $10,000 in it. It could qualify at any UDRA and AHRA event. I had volunteer help, usually one or two people. By 1992 mt new Haas WunderBird was valued at $150,000. Today it is over $400,000. Plus cost of spare parts, constant developing, crew and logistics.

I too would be racing if I could afford it.
